Our solution is designed to give a local authority all of the information they need to manage their business rates billing service. By incorporating "Business Intelligence" into your day to day processes you will know more about your customers and in turn, the likelihood that bills will be issued correctly and cash collected promptly.

We provide detailed information and analysis of businesses and commercial entities, including all associated directors and in turn, companies linked to the additional directors. Financial data is presented along with "Credit Scoring" for each business, which ensures that you know the likelihood that payment will be received. This is displayed simply in easy to read reports to give an instant view of all the information.

By providing scoring models and traffic light indication we will show those that effectively "Can pay, won't pay" and the businesses that simply just can't pay; with a few in between. This gives the authority the ability to make small adjustments to their processes, which will be needed moving forward due to rates retention anyway, in order to maximise not just the value of collections but the efficiency of them.

Working together

CAF Business is the system that all authorities can use to monitor their businesses and aid collections. However our software platform is flexible enough to allow 3rd party integration to make the display of information more transparent. Data is hosted securely within the UK and no information is held or accessed from outside of this area.

 

If you have systems that store business data or that identify new rateable properties then we will look to compliment them via our APIs. It is one thing to identify another million pounds worth of properties but this still needs to be collected - this is where we come in!
